- As an Emerging Technology, Air Launched Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Air Launched Effects (ALE) have become increasingly more popular in the pivot to focus on Greater Power Competition and Contested Environments. However, leaving these costly, valuable, and security sensitive items behind to be disposed of or fall into the wrong hands, is not an option. 

- The Air Trawler projects is a UAS/ALE agnostic system to recover these items in flight.
